Zdi has assurance of supply programs that limits the volatility and havoc a material change notification inflicts to a material requisition planner (MRP). If a part or product line is being scheduled for discontinuance Zdi can help.

Our assurance of supply programs consider the customers design costs and the time invested in their program. A significant percentage of the time it does make financial sense for a contractor to re-spin a circuit board. Further, the approval process may prohibit the redesign entirely. Zdi will negotiate direct with the OCM supplier and contract the quantities needed for the last time production of the material in question.
